We have recently had a flurry of requests to join to Beavers and Cubs.
Group Sections
Our Beaver Section (6 to 8 year-old) only has room for 12, so it is very hard to meet the demand.
Our Cub Section (8 to 10 and a half year-old) has 24 places, which opens up more opportunities.
Our Scout Section is very busy (10 and a half to 14 year old).
Our Explorer Section is open to all. The Young People direct and deliver their own programme (14 to 18 year old).

Membership Meeting
As January begins the leaders have to count all Scouts for the annual census.
For every Scout we need to pay a capitation fee which includes insurance for all activities.
It is important that subs are paid at the ‘Membership Meeting’ at the start of term and paperwork is completed.

As the Winter Term 2013 draws to a close. Here is my news…
Membership Meeting
As membership of the Group continues to grow; our waiting list is also increasing. Volunteers want to spend more of their time on adventure and less time on paperwork.

We are taking the Beavers and Cubs to see the Pantomime, Sleeping Beauty at Venue Cymru on Saturday 14th December.
We have a few tickets left and are now offering them to the Scouts, Explorers and their families at £15 a ticket. This includes a coach from the bus stops by acheter viagra the library in Wood Street, Menai Bridge at 1pm and the matinee ticket and bus back, by approximately 5.30pm.

Dear Scout Supporter,
We are half way through the Winter Term 2013. Here is my news…
Zoe is back leading the colony as she juggles the demands of her PGCE course. Alice, John and Lucy are helping. I am also helping just in case Zoe can’t get out of school on time. Many thanks to the Beaver parents who have been helping us cover meetings recently.
The Beavers visited a local restaurant ‘The Straits’ and ate a tasty creole jumbo for their ‘Global Challenge’ badge. The Beavers have also completed their ‘Healthy Eating’ …
